About This Year’s Theme

This year, MUNISS sets its focus on the theme “Building Bridges in a Divided World.” In an increasingly interconnected yet divided world, dialogue and cooperation have become essential in addressing the challenges that transcend borders. Our theme emphasizes the importance of diplomacy in overcoming differences, fostering mutual understanding, and creating meaningful connections between communities and nations.
From political tensions and inequality to human rights, conflict, and global instability, the challenges facing our world cannot be addressed in isolation. “Building Bridges in a Divided World” encourages us to look beyond our differences and recognize the shared responsibilities that connect us. Through collaboration, diplomacy, and solidarity, we can create spaces for dialogue, strengthen international cooperation, and work towards a future in which differences become opportunities for understanding rather than barriers to progress.
