The MUNISS 2024 Executive Team kindly invites you to the 17th annual Model United Nations Conference, held at the International School of Stuttgart, Germany from April 18-21 2023.
MUNISS offers an educational and challenging opportunity for students to grow in both character and knowledge. It allows students to reinforce the knowledge that is learned in the classroom, teaches students about current global issues, develops critical thinking skills, and aids in building confidence and leadership skills. For the past 16 years, we have had the pleasure of hosting delegates from all over the world and are looking forward to welcome, once again, a diverse group of delegates.
The chosen theme for this year’s conference will be “Adapting to the modern era: Ensuring global progress and equity”. We are planning exciting debates to discuss global issues that arise as we transition into the digital age. How can we reduce inequalities and combat discrimination? How can we support international cooperation and equitable distribution of resources? How do new technologies influence the way we approach these goals? Together, we’ll explore creative solutions to reshape the world for a brighter, more equitable future!
This year we will be offering limited housing for delegates. If you do not wish to be housed, there are numerous youth hostels and budget hotels in and around Stuttgart. We have an accommodation booklet on our website where you can find hotels, restaurants, and information regarding the Stuttgart public transport system. You will not need to buy train tickets for the duration of the conference as these are included in the participation fee. Please let us know if you have any questions about accommodation in Stuttgart. You will need to provide for your own breakfasts and dinners as a school, but lunches and snacks are provided during the conference.
