The Conference

Dear all,

The MUNISS 2026 Executive Team kindly invites you to the 19th annual Model United Nations Conference, held at the International School of Stuttgart, Germany from March 26 – 29th 2026.

MUNISS offers an educational and challenging opportunity for students to grow in both character and knowledge. It allows students to reinforce the knowledge that is learned in the classroom, teaches students about current global issues, develops critical thinking skills, and aids in building confidence and leadership skills. For the past 18 years, we have had the pleasure of hosting delegates from all over the world and are looking forward to welcome, once again, a diverse group of delegates.

The chosen theme for this year’s conference will be “Global Collaboration towards Greater Freedom.” We are preparing engaging debates to address pressing global challenges where cooperation and unity are essential. How can nations work together to safeguard fundamental rights and freedoms? What role does international collaboration play in overcoming barriers such as conflict, inequality, and oppression? How can diplomacy, innovation, and shared responsibility strengthen the pursuit of freedom worldwide? Together, we will explore bold ideas and foster dialogue to inspire a future built on trust, solidarity, and greater freedom for all.

This year we will be offering limited housing for delegates. If you do not wish to be housed, there are numerous youth hostels and budget hotels in and around Stuttgart. You will not need to buy train tickets for the duration of the conference as these are included in the participation fee. Please let us know if you have any questions about accommodation in Stuttgart. You will need to provide for your own breakfasts and dinners as a school, but lunches and snacks are provided during the conference.
