The Conference

"MUNISS is a place where all MUN enthusiasts have the chance to challenge themselves. Our conference teaches and improves on skills that are important for any future job, including complex problem-solving, critical thinking and collaboration"

Dear all,

The MUNISS 2025 Executive Team kindly invites you to the 18th annual Model United Nations Conference, held at the International School of Stuttgart, Germany from the 10th to the 13th of April 2025.

MUNISS offers an educational and challenging opportunity for high-school students to grow in both character and knowledge. For the past 18 years, we have had the pleasure of hosting delegates from all over the world and look forward to welcoming, once again, a diverse group of delegates

The chosen theme for this year’s conference is “United for Progress”. In a world where complex global issues continue to challenge our societies, collaboration across borders, cultures and perspectives is essential. This theme emphasizes the importance of unity, cooperation and shared responsibility as we innovate and move towards a more equitable future.

With 16 diverse committees, we offer opportunities tailored to students of all experience levels and interests. We hope this range of opportunities allows students to engage deeply with global issues, develop critical thinking and negotiation skills, and foster a sense of international cooperation and understanding among peers from various backgrounds. By participating in these committees, we encourage the cultivation of leadership abilities and preparation for future roles in diplomacy and advocacy.

This year, we will bring MUNISS into our brand-new school building! After multiple conferences in temporary classrooms, we are looking forward to seeing our conference take place in our modern facilities, designed specifically to foster collaboration and community.

Fees

Below you can see the participation fees for the conference. This will include everything ranging from meals and snacks to all relevant conference materials and train tickets for the entire event. Once we have the final attendee counts for delegates, chairs, and directors joining MUNISS from your school, we will provide you, as directors, with an invoice detailing the final payments for your school, along with instructions on transferring payment.

  • Delegates: 80€
  • Chairs (StOff): 60€
  • Directors: 40€

Accommodation

We will attempt to offer limited housing in host families for our delegates. You will be able to request housing on the registration form. As our spaces are limited, we cannot provide housing for all requests, and some delegations will need to book accommodation in the Stuttgart area.

We have an accommodation page (https://muniss.net/accommodation/) on our website where you can find hotels, restaurants, and information regarding the Stuttgart public transport system. We will be partnering with local hotels in providing our delegates and directors with codes that they can use to book hotels at reduced prices. These codes will be communicated to you shortly.

There is no need to purchase your own train tickets for the event days, as they are provided complimentary as part of your experience. Please let us know if you have any questions about accommodation in Stuttgart. Lunches and snacks will be provided throughout the conference. Please tell us of any dietary restrictions we need to be aware of.

To sign up for MUNISS, please register as a school through this form (https://forms.office.com/e/NsWPvQVvrk) by December 13th. After you fill out this form, further details on how to register delegates will follow via email.

We are thrilled to host MUNISS 2025! If you have any further questions or concerns, feel free to contact us at muniss@issev.de or visit our website, www.muniss.net for more information. Whether this is your first MUNISS conference or you have participated before, we hope to see you there!
